Two Rivers Tavern on Daniel Island has a spot reserved on my list of great local bar hang out spots. First off, the music is great. Then the on-tap selection will quickly tell you that someone here knows beer. The draft selection goes from Colorado’s Dale’s Pale Ale to Michigan’s Two Hearted Ale to Pennsylvania’s great Yuengling Lager. The bottled selection is great too, we are talking about Duvel, Celebrator and some of the Great Lakes region brews. As for the atmosphere, clean dark wood with a simple yet well-stocked wine, liquor and obviously I’ve already mentioned the beer. The food selection is good too. They offer a selection that varies from traditional bar food to more local selections. It is a family owned bar (I met one of the owners, Kevin) that will make you feel right at home, wherever it is you call home. If you are in the Charleston, S.C. area, don’t miss out on this bar, open from 11am - 10pm most days of the week.
