Beer Brewed Specifically for Space
Beer just isn’t the same in outer space. Weightlessness numbs the taste buds and makes carbonated beverages much harder to digest. In order to let astronauts enjoy a nice cold one after a hard day of space work an Australian brewery is developing lightly carbonated but flavorful brew.
There’s already been beer brewed with space grown barley, but until now no astronaut had much use for beers while on the job. As long as they don’t go piloting around space tipsy this sounds like great news.
